Agility Video is a wholly owned subsidiary of Agilence, Inc. and the rebirth of Vidient Systems.  Agility Video is a global leader in sophisticated video analysis for security and safety applications — especially in difficult environments. Agility Video’s products transform CCTV camera systems from passive assessment tools to active monitoring systems. By leveraging existing camera infrastructures, Agility Video technology can provide far more sophisticated detection capabilities at a lower cost than traditional sensor systems, such as fence sensors, optical sensors and buried cable systems.

Agility Video’s core technology was developed in a pioneering research project at NEC Labs. Vidient was founded in 2003 to integrate the technology into commercial solutions. Today, the technology products are deployed worldwide in rail transit systems, rail yards, major airports, water supply systems, and other critical infrastructure sites.
